The EMBA Sport Management participants from the Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports (APEMS) visited Solec-Kujawski, Poland, to explore how sport can serve as a strategic driver of urban growth.
The program began with a meeting with the mayor, discussing how sport contributes to social cohesion, infrastructure improvements, and quality of life for residents.
The delegation toured a modern school equipped with advanced sports facilities and visited the Sports and Recreation Center. Here, participants engaged in discussions with sports managers, coaches, and teachers, exchanging best practices for community sport engagement.
The day concluded with an in-depth conversation with the Center’s general manager, focusing on current challenges, long-term objectives, and potential development projects. The insights gained are expected to inform strategies for advancing urban sport development in Kazakhstan.
