Transfer and reinstatement at APEMS are possible for any educational program, regardless of the terms of expulsion.
Transfers or reinstatement after expulsion are carried out provided that the student has completed the first academic period of the program, according to the individual curriculum.
The reinstatement is carried out only on a paid basis. At the same time, the student submits an application for reinstatement to the Rector. A transcript is attached to the reinstatement application.
The transfer and reinstatement of students from one educational program to another, from one higher education institution (hereafter – HEI) to another is carried out during the summer and winter holidays.
The academic difference in the disciplines of the working curricula is determined by the Academy on the basis of the list of studied disciplines, their programs and loads in academic hours or academic credits reflected in the transcript.
The amount of academic credits of the academic difference in the disciplines of the working curricula when transferring or reinstating students, as a rule, should not exceed 25 credits for the Bachelor's degree program.
The procedure for transferring a student to APEMS from another university is carried out in the following order:
Student who wants to transfer to APEMS from another university submits an application in any form for transfer to the rector of HEI and, having received a written consent for the transfer, sealed, addresses the Rector of APEMS
Copies of the transcript signed by the Rector and the Registrar's office and sealed and the application addressed to the Rector of APEMS (with the Rector's signature and seal) are attached to the transfer application
Dean, on the basis of the submitted documents, determines the difference of disciplines in the curricula and, in accordance with the mastered prerequisites, sets the year of study
The Registrar's office carries out the transfer of the acquired credits in accordance with the educational program and approves the individual curriculum of the student
In accordance with the signature of the Dean, the Registrar's office, an Order is issued by APEMS Rector on enrollment under a state educational order (if there is a certificate of awarding a state grant) or on a paid basis
The procedure for transferring APEMS student to another university is carried out in the following order :
Student who wants to transfer to another university submits an application in any form for transfer to the APEMS Rector and, having received a written consent for the transfer, sealed, addresses the Head of the university of interest to student
Copies of the transcript signed by the Rector and the office Registrar and sealed and the application addressed to the APEMS Rector (with the Rector's signature and seal) are attached to the application for transfer to the Head of the host university
Rector's Order is issued on the transfer of the student in accordance with the visas of the dean, the office Registrar
After receiving such a request, the rector's order on expulsion is issued with the wording «expelled in connection with the transfer to (name of the university)»
The student is expelled from the higher education institution in the following cases:

Academic leave is the period for which a student of the Academy temporarily interrupts the studies for medical reasons, in connection with conscription or child care.
When granting academic leave to a student studied on the basis of a state order, the right to further education on the basis of a state order is reserved. The financing of the studies for the period of the academic leave is interrupted, which is resumed after its completion
When granting academic leave to a student on a paid basis, tuition fees for the period of academic leave are suspended
During the period when students are on academic leave, the state scholarship is not paid, with the exception of academic leave granted on the basis of a medical report (conclusion of the medical advisory commission)
For students who have returned from academic leave, the appointment and payment of a state scholarship are carried out after the elimination of the academic difference in the curricula
Academic leave is granted to students:
- according to the conclusion of the medical advisory commission at the outpatient polyclinic organization, for a period of 6 to 12 months due to illness;
- according to the decision of the Centralized Medical Advisory Commission of an anti-tuberculosis organization in case of tuberculosis disease, lasting no more than 36 months;
- upon conscription for military service;
- due to the birth, adoption of a child, before a child reaches the age of three years.
Return from Academic leave
- Upon returning from academic leave, the student continues his/her studies from the course from which he/she took this leave.
- After the academic leave, the student submits an application addressed to the Rector of APEMS and submits a certificate of the medical advisory commission with permission on continuing education – when the student is on academic leave due to illness.
- On the basis of the submitted documents, within three working days, the Rector's order is issued on the student's return from academic leave, indicating the educational program, course and group.
- If the date of return from Academic leave or going on Academic leave does not coincide with the beginning or end of the academic period, then the student performs all academic tasks according to an individual schedule and takes the grades necessary for the admission rating, or enrolls in the summer semester in the disciplines for which the difference has formed.
- For elimination of the academic difference, the student attends all types of training sessions in parallel with the current training sessions during the academic period, passes all types of current and end term control provided for in the working curriculum for these disciplines, receives admission and passes the final control during the interim certification of students according to the academic calendar.
