Information about the Student House

The students of the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (hereinafter – APEMS) are students from different regions of the country who are provided with an apartment-type Student House.

All conditions for comfortable training and residence have been created in the Student House. The Student House consists of 2-room apartments for 5 students and 3-room apartments for 7 students.

The apartment has:
Kitchen;
Bathroom;
Bedroom

  The building is equipped with a modern video surveillance system

Accommodation in the Student House is carried out from August 25 for 1st year students and from August 30 for senior students

The access mode at the entrance is provided

The doors of the Student House for APEMS students open at 06:00 and close at 22:00.

I. The procedure and rules for settling in the APEMS Student House
A package of documents for settling:
1. Application of a student or his/her legal representative if he/she does not reach the age of maturity.
2. A photocopy of the student's ID and copies of the parents' IDs;
3. Medical certificate 075 with fluorography;
4. Photo 3x4 - 4 pieces;
5. Receipt of payment for accommodation;
7. Availability, if necessary, of relevant documents confirming the status of a student in order to receive benefits:

• Certificate of death of parents or a certificate from the guardianship and guardianship authorities - for persons left without parental care at the time of reaching the age of majority; orphans and children left without parental care);
• Certificates of the medical advisory commission (for persons with disabilities);
• Certificates of family composition, indicating that there are 4 or more children under 18 in the family and / or birth certificates of all children under 18;
• A photocopy of the parents' pension certificate or a certificate confirming the status of unemployed parents (for students in whose family both parents are pensioners or unemployed);
• certificates / supporting documents on the disability of the parents, as well as the birth certificate of the student (certified by a notary);
• Repatriates who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

II. Rules for obtaining a place in a Student House
The provision of places for students in APEMS residential premises is made on the basis of the decision of the Commission for the allocation of places in APEMS residential premises, based on the documents submitted by applicants:
1. A place in a Student House is provided, first of all, to 1st year students who do not have a residence permit and their own housing in the city of Astana.
2. Students belonging to certain preferential categories.
3. Students who have the “Altyn Belgi” sign, as well as those who have a certificate of the winner or prize-winner of the Presidential International and Republican Olympiad and (or) competition.
4. For students of other categories, including citizens of foreign countries, places in APEMS residential premises are provided subject to availability.
5. Students who have not received a place in APEMS accommodation but are on a waiting list at the beginning of the school year may apply for a place as they become available during the school year.
6. In the event of termination of the APEMS Residential Lease Agreement, the resident is obliged to vacate the occupied place (in the Student House) within three days, handing over to the commandant on the bypass list this place in a clean state, all the equipment and property received in good condition. In the event of material damage or damage to property, the damage caused is compensated in full, and not only the property, but also the restoration work is evaluated.

           III. Passing procedure for students living in the APEMS Student House
1. Access control is provided by the APEMS 24/7 security service.
2. Entrance to the Student House is carried out on the basis of a student pass. The transfer of a student pass to third parties is strictly prohibited.
3. The doors of the Student House for APEMS students open at 06:00 and close at 22:00.
4. In the period from 21:00 to 23:00, the rooms are bypassed by the teachers on duty, at 23:00 the silence mode is announced.
5. From 23:00 to 06:00, entry and exit to the Student House is allowed only with the written consent of the vice-rector for educational work (the application is submitted in advance).
6. The commandant has the right to prohibit access to the Student House to unauthorized persons without the prior consent of the higher management.

IV. Rights and obligations of students living in the APEMS Student House
Students have the following rights:
1. Live in a Student House, according to the terms of the concluded contract;
2. Use the equipment and supplies of the APEMS student house as needed;
3. Participate in the formation of the council of the APEMS student house and be elected to its composition;
4. The student has the right to make suggestions for improving living conditions;
5. The student may terminate the Residential Lease Agreement at any time by submitting a written application addressed to the vice-rector for educational work.

Students have the following responsibilities:
1) comply with the housing legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, these Rules, safety regulations, fire safety regulations, sanitary and epidemiological standards, fulfilling the terms of the concluded APEMS Premises Lease Agreement;
2) present a pass when entering the APEMS student house;
3) in accordance with the established procedure and terms, provide documents for registration at the place of stay;
4) timely pay the fee for accommodation in the APEMS student house in the prescribed amount;
5) strictly observe the instructions for the use of equipment and inventory; household electrical appliances, take good care of the property of the APEMS student house,
6) keep the room clean and tidy;
7) daily carry out wet cleaning of his room, in the household room according to the established duty schedule;
8) to eliminate at their own expense damage to the premises, furniture, caused by their improper operation or intentional damage;
9) provide an opportunity for APEMS representatives to inspect the room of the student house in order to monitor compliance with the Agreement;
10) comply with the requirements of moral and ethical standards of behavior, maintain an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual respect, avoid conflict situations in relation to residents and employees of APEMS residential premises;
11) when leaving the APEMS Student House, as well as during a temporary departure, notify the commandant in writing three days before departure;
12) when leaving the APEMS Student House for more than three days, notify the commandant in writing of his departure, with the exception of absence on holidays established by the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
13) at the end of the academic year, within three days, the student is obliged to hand over the room according to the act of acceptance and transfer and leave the APEMS Student House.

Students living in a student house are strictly prohibited from:
1) be disrespectful to the Student House Council;
2) arbitrarily transfer inventory from one room to another (arbitrarily remake the electrical wiring and repair the electrical network);
3) violate the established order and regime, peace and quiet of the Student House;
4) smoking indoors, including electronic cigarettes and other smoking mixtures;
5) appear in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication, consume, sell, distribute and store non-smoking tobacco products, narcotic substances, as well as drinks containing alcohol;
6) to litter and litter, litter with garbage and household waste of common areas.
