Research Institute of Sports Science and Innovation

Founded in June 2025, the Research Institute of Sport Science serves as a research and innovation platform that integrates education, scientific research, and practical application in the field of physical culture and sport. The Institute is dedicated to advancing modern sport science, implementing digital and personalized athlete training technologies, and developing a sustainable research ecosystem aligned with international standards and emerging global challenges.

The Research Institute of Sport Science was established as a centre for the advancement of fundamental and applied research in the field of physical culture and sport, based on a multidisciplinary approach and the application of advanced scientific and digital technologies.

The Institute conducts full-cycle research activities—from the development and experimental validation to the implementation of innovative methodologies and technologies—targeting youth sport, mass physical activity, the development of the athletic talent pathway, and elite and high-performance sport. Particular emphasis is placed on enhancing the effectiveness and safety of the training process, as well as on strengthening the professional competencies of specialists in physical culture and sport.

The Institute’s activities are focused on the integration of science, education, and practice. Through close collaboration with educational institutions, governmental bodies, sports federations, and industry partners, the Institute facilitates the transfer of scientific outcomes into educational programmes and sport training practice at both national and international levels, contributing to the sustainable development of the field of physical culture and sport.
