On January 23, 2023 students, participants of the XXXI World Winter Universiade returned to their homeland. They were met at the airport by a large delegation led by the Minister of Science and Higher Education – Sayasat Nurbek, the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports, as well as relatives, close friends and fellow students of the athletes. The minister congratulated the students on their victories and expressed his best wishes and warm parting words.

APEMS First Vice-Rector – Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Duketaev Bolatbek Asylbekovich also congratulated the students who showed good results at the Universiade and wished them further professional success.

The XXXI World Winter Universiade 2023 was held in Lake Placid, USA. More than 1400 athletes from 50 countries of the world took part in the Universiade.
