On May 20, 2024, the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports in Astana opened the Polish-Kazakhstan Education Center for training first aid (FAP) and BLS (Basic Life Support). The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Association "European Center for Rescue and Safety", the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports in Bydgoszcz (Poland), WOPR (Polish Center for Water Rescue), and the Polish Embassy in Kazakhstan. First Secretary of the Polish Embassy in Astana mr. Maciej Koscieszynski attended the official opening of the Center.
The program was developed with the participation of leading scientific experts from European countries and meets international standards, representing scientifically based training. The training process uses equipment from LEARDAL (Norwegian simulation training equipment), artificial intelligence, which ensures high quality data analysis.
As part of the project, lecturers, students of the Academy, as well as physical education teachers and sports coaches from Astana will undergo training.
Training is provided free of charge from May 19 to May 24. Upon completion of the training, participants will receive certificates in accordance with international standards.
- Group A - 8 people (BLS/AED Provider certificate)
- Group B - 32 people (BLS/AED Provider certificate)
- Group C - 240-360 people (RITA certificate)
The Academy is now a 4th generation university, integrating teaching, research and innovation to create a positive impact on society and is designed to become a leading national training center for the sports sector.
