On February 22, 2023, two of our wonderful athletes were honored at the Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports, who proved themselves at the International Winter Universiade in Lake Placid, USA.

Solemn award ceremony for Zhanisov Sanzhar and Sagatov Bakdaulet, who showed impressive results at the Universiade. Sanzhar competed in short track, won the second place and received a silver medal. Bakdaulet also competed in a long distance of 5 thousand meters in speed skating and took 5th place.

Our athletes demonstrated a high level of training, skill and a real spirit of struggle. They adequately represented our university and our country in the international arena. We are proud of them and wish them further success in sports and studies.
