Playing checkers develops logical thinking, ingenuity, the ability to think abstractly, fosters perseverance.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, on February 7, a checkers tournament was held among teachers and students of APEMS. The tournament was attended by 20 students and 6 teachers. According to the results of the tournament,

the 1st place was taken by the student of the INS2201 group, master of sports in checkers – Naraliyev Aybek;

the 2nd place was taken by the student of group TR2202 – Amirova Zarina;

the 3rd place was taken by the coach – Bereketov Meirzhan.
