On April 19, 2025, Astana hosted the Sport EMBA Talks forum, organized by APEMS Business Academy with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was timed to coincide with the graduation ceremony for graduates of the 2nd stream of the Executive MBA (EMBA) program in sports management, implemented in partnership with leading international educational institutions.

The Executive MBA program is aimed at developing management competencies among senior managers in the field of sports. The forum became a symbolic completion of the educational stage for the 2nd stream of graduates and an important platform for discussing the prospects of sports management in Kazakhstan.

The forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture, the National Olympic Committee, the Directorate for Sports Development, sports federations, as well as listeners and graduates of the APEMS Business Academy. Today, the contingent of listeners of the EMBA Sport Management program is more than 200 people.

Sport EMBA Talks confirmed the relevance of professional business education for the sports industry and contributed to the establishment of new partnerships and the exchange of experience between leading specialists in the sports industry. The EMBA Sport Management program continues to confidently strengthen its position as one of the leading educational platforms for training leaders in the sports industry in Kazakhstan.
