III Student Scientific Conference “Physical Education and Sport: The Perspective of Students and Young Researchers”, April 9 to 11, 2025 - Академия физической культуры и массового спорта

As part of the celebration of Science Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports hosted the III Student Scientific Conference “Physical Education  and Sport: The Perspective of Students and Young Researchers” from April 9 to 11, 2025. During the conference, 38 presentations were delivered in Kazakh, Russian, and English in both plenary and sectional sessions.

On April 9, during a sectional session held in the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, 13 student presentations were delivered. The session was moderated by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Senior Lecturer Kulyan Tlegenova.

On April 10, a sectional session took place in the Department of Sports Education and Coaching, during which Academy students presented 14 reports. The session was moderated by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Associate Professor Mukhambet Zhassyn Serikbaevich. In each sectional session, the best presentations were selected and honored with first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas.

On April 11, a plenary session was held. It was opened with a welcoming address by the Rector of the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports, Bakytzhan Sarkeyev, who also presented a certificate worth 100,000 tenge to Academy students Anastasia Siranyuk and Alina Artamonova, along with their scientific advisor, Senior Lecturer Aynur Abiltayeva, for achieving third place in the Republican Contest of Research Papers among University Students of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of “Physical Education and Sport.” This recognition created favorable conditions for the further development of student research at our Academy.

The plenary session’s program, moderated by Ten Alina Vladimirovna, Acting Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at APEMS, and Gulnara Timurovna Abdrakhmanova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and representative of the Kazakhstan Federation of Mass Wrestling, featured six presentations. These reports addressed such topical issues as digital solutions and the application of artificial intelligence in sports, anthropometric characteristics in orienteering, the integration of innovative technologies in coaching activities, and the development of rifle shooting in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University student Ekaterina Podsukhina presented the results of research aimed at defining the peculiarities of psychological preparation for the setter in professional volleyball. Tomiris Rogova, a student of the Republican Sports Boarding School-Internat for Talented Children in Sports named after K. Munaytpassov, discussed modern challenges in preparing sports reserves in her report.

The presentations delivered during the plenary session were recognized with first-degree diplomas; students and their scientific advisors were awarded diplomas, letters of thanks, and souvenirs. In addition, during the ceremonial segment of the conference, students and scientific advisors whose reports were acknowledged by the sectional competition commissions received further awards.

The Student Scientific Conference “Physical Education and Sport: The Perspective of Students and Young Researchers” served as a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences among the Academy’s student community, as well as for invited students from L.N. Gumilyev Eurasian National University and the Republican Sports Boarding School-Internat for Talented Children in Sports named after K. Munaytpassov. This event turned into a true celebration of science and creativity.
