On January 13, 2023 the Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports (hereinafter – APEMS) and representatives of the Togyzqumalak Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan discussed the creation of a higher education program for the training of a coach-trainer in a table sport – the Kazakh national intellectual game "Togyzqumalak".

The General Secretary of the World Federation "Togyzqumalak" – Maksa Shotaev and State Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan in togyzqumalak – Daulet Abdikarimov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs – Tursynzada Kuangalieva, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation – Aibol Kulbaev, Director of Academic Affairs Department – Zhaksat Kenzhin took part in this event.

Within the framework of the new educational program, highly qualified coach-trainers in togyzqumalak will be trained, who will strengthen the international competitiveness of Kazakhstan in this sport, contributing to the country's prestige on the world stage.

APEMS will be the first institution of higher education on the basis of which specialists in this sport will be trained on the basis of an effective innovative system of continuing professional education based on dual learning principles.
