On July 30, 2025, as part of the EMBA Sport Management internship program, participants visited Bydgoszcz City Hall and met with Vice President Iwona Waszkiewicz, Director of the Bydgoszcz Sports Center (BCS) Marcin Ossowski, and General Manager of Bydgoszcz Sports Facilities (BOS) Gracjan Topczewski. 

The discussion covered effective management of sports infrastructure, the city’s sports development strategy, and European best practices for supporting both grassroots and professional sports. Bydgoszcz, known as one of Poland’s major sports hubs, regularly hosts international competitions and offers residents a diverse range of accessible sports programs. 

For the participants, this meeting provided valuable insights into the strategic role of local authorities in sports development, public-private partnership mechanisms, and modern management approaches for sports venues.
