At the "MEETING WITHOUT TIES" event, representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan, Timothy Gibson (Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Embassy Astana) and Aidana Talgat (EOL Specialist), had the chance to immerse themselves in Kazakh national games during the break between panel discussions. Timothy Gibson, in particular, learned how to play TOGYZKUMALAK, a traditional Kazakh intellectual board game. Our Academy students enthusiastically explained the rules and guided him through the game. Timothy enjoyed it so much that he expressed his desire to continue playing this fascinating game in the future!
